empowering young playwrights to write their stories
Playwriting from Scratch: New Works Intensive is a new program that provides young playwrights [13-18 years old] a free two week playwriting intensive. Playwrights will write an original 10-minute play to be rehearsed and performed by professional artists in two staged readings as well as participate in skills building workshops with professional mentors. Participants will also receive access to the entirety of The Scratch: Seattle Workshop Series. This program is designed to artistically and professionally support young writers eager to learn more about playwriting.
